Is it possible to use WordPress shortcodes inside the endpoint using the WYSIWYG editor?

Yes, of course. In general, any shortcode that works on your WordPress pages (including those added by WooCommerce) will also work in the endpoint editors.

Which style options does the plugin include?

You cannot edit the content of an endpoint, but you can edit the endpoint label and icon for example.
Additionally there are some style options to change the lay out and position of the menu, we explain all about it on this page here.

Does the plugin allow adding an extra tab to show a specific content through a shortcode?

Yes, you can create and configure new endpoints to show your content via a shortcode and add them to the My Account page.

Can I rename the WooCommerce tabs already available in My Account page?

Yes, you can rename them and also customize the slug, icon, and content.

Is it possible to hide the menu items by user roles?

Yes, you can restrict the visibility by user roles directly from the endpoint settings.

Is it possible to create and add custom fields to the endpoints?

Unfortunately not. The plugin doesn’t allow creating custom fields. As a solution, you can use a third party’s plugin to create fields, then add them to the endpoint content with YITH Customize My Account Page.

What can I add to the content of endpoints?

The basic concept behind the plugin is that the content of custom tabs behaves exactly like a standard post on WordPress, so whatever works on a post, it also works in the custom tab. If a third-party plugin, for example, has shortcodes or whatever other things that work on a post, they will also work in the content of the custom tabs in My Account.
